Muffin
Farewell Friend
It had to happen, but today we bid farewell to Muffin, our noble and faithful steed. We thought it appropriate that we have a trip down memory lane of all the old happy times.

Like most of Muffins life, it was a short trip, but a trip none the less. Farewell Muffin.
Vale Muffin
It had to happen. Today we put Muffin, our faithful and noble steed up for sale. She was an incredible gift and a testimony to the MD's provision. We will miss her and her smokey ways.
Our car "Muffin" currently known as "Stumpy"
On Thursday morning, Tom went to our car and found it covered in flour. (In fact most cars on our street were covered). This follows a series of incidents to cars on our street.
We decided to go through the car wash to clean it all off.
As Tom and I sat in the car, the big whilry cleaners came towards the back of the car. All of a sudden, the cleaner pulled our back wind shield wiper away from the car, snapped it off, broke it in two and dropped it in the ground. We sat shocked at what had happened and had to wait until the whirly brushes of doom continued to blaze their path of destruction to the front of the car.
After we got out of the car wash, I went in to the station with the poor broken winscreen wiper which the worker couldnt believe was real! Our poor little car has only a "stump" where the wiper once was.
The good news is that the station has insurance and will be repairing our little car as it once again survives through difficulty. Until then, we will call the car "stumpy."
The Bad Men make Muffin Cry
Today young Muffin was violated in the wee small hours. The thieves took a screwdriver to the drivers side door and stole a grand total of 80c in coins. Muffin then decided that today would be the day to destroy her water pump. Once again, Muffin awaits showering with expensive bits.
The Lion gets a new heart
Any of those who have driven behind Muffin in recent months would have noticed the plume of blue smoke reminiscent of an oil well fire. Muffin has shook, clunked, groaned and leaked her way successfully around this fine land of ours for the last 23 years. It is time for a new heart. Tom went back to school the other day to see an old teacher who offered us an engine. Needless to say it is better than the one we currently have.
