Greetings all.

As I type this, we have a Turkey cooking in our little oven here in Sydney. (If it was much bigger we wouldn't be able to fit it in and I dont know how we would have cooked it!) The other positive is that our fire alarm has not  gone off all day! Usually one of us has to stand underneath it everytime we open the oven and fan something wildly to get it to turn off. Our toaster usually sets it off so this is something small to be thankful for!

As Thursday was not a public holiday here, today is our Thanksgiving party. We have been busily baking all of Friday night and then early this morning to get it all done. (For all those bakers out there, look at epicurious.com as they have a great variety of recipes and you can rate recipes with little spoons after cooking.)

We will be taking some photos and letting everyone know how our first attempt at cooking a full Thanksgiving meal goes. =)
